Delta-Q, Inc. represents over 15 highly respected brands with sales exceeding $50M in the professional plumbing and HVAC markets of Southern California and Nevada. We employ 15 outside salespeople covering the wholesale, commercial, showroom and builder market channels. Our 7 inside salespeople provide customer service, technical support, engineering support, project quotations and submittals. We also maintain a 15,000 square foot warehouse space for both consigned and buy/sell inventory. Since 2014, our company has doubled sales from $25M to $50M, and increased from 15 employees to 22.
Our management team is committed to working closely with each of our manufacturer principals to design and execute thorough marketing and sales plans that cover all channels. Our focus is to create demand for products we represent by getting to the professionals that specify, install and use them. We emphasize organic growth by increasing share for our manufacturers rather than adding names to the line card. Delta-Q aligns with manufacturers looking for a true partner that can help create and execute strategies to achieve our common goals.
Delta-Q Inc. Management Team
Derek joined Delta-Q in 1995. He has worked every position in the company from warehouse to inside sales, outside sales and management. Derek became president of Delta-Q when his father retired in 2009 after leading the company for twenty-five years. He has a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara in business economics and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
VP of Sales
Dominick joined Delta Q in 2011 as an outside salesman for Orange County. He has been in the Plumbing / HVAC business since 1991, and has worked in the retail and wholesale channels at the manufacturer, wholesale, and manufacturers’ rep level.
Glenn Branson, CPD
Commercial Sales Manager
Glenn joined Delta-Q in 2005. He is certified in plumbing design by ASPE and has been in the industry since 2000 , Glenn is a seasoned sales professional who leads our commercial sales team. Glenn’s experience within the wholesale, commercial, industrial, and municipal markets, makes him an invaluable resource to both our customers and our team. Glenn has a degree in business economics and finance.
Residential Sales Manager
Jim joined Delta Q in 2012, and has been in the industry since 1991. His experiences range from a service and repair plumber, outside salesman, regional sales manager and now as a managing partner. Throughout His career he has established strong relationships within the wholesale, contractor, and residential builder markets. Currently he leads the residential sales team.
Delta-Q, Inc. began as a one-line agency in 1977 representing Grundfos Pumps Corporation. Arne Johansson, former national sales manager for Grundfos, purchased Delta-Q in 1981. He incorporated the company in 1985, the same year Delta-Q took on Louisville Tin & Stove Co., manufacturer of Cozy gas-fired heating equipment, as its second line. Since then, Delta-Q, Inc. has enjoyed steady growth, achieving over $35M in sales for fifteen manufacturers in 2016.
Derek Johansson, current president of Delta-Q, Inc., joined the company in 1995. He worked his way from inside sales to outside sales and management, and took over for Arne after his retirement in 2009. In August of 2012, Delta-Q, Inc. merged with Fusion Sales and added American Standard Brands as one of its principal manufacturers. The company relocated from its location of twenty years in La Habra, CA, into a newly remodeled facility in Fullerton, CA with 15,000 square feet of warehouse space for buy/sell and consigned inventory.
